Reasons to choose Radar Technology for silo level measurement

  •  Radar level technology is non-contact, which means unlike guided microwave and capacitance, it doesn’t get worn cables or product retention or need much maintenance and there are no concerns over roof loadings.
  • This technology is reliable, unaffected by dust generation, air currents and noise generation, unlike ultrasonic devices.
  • There is no signal loss during pneumatic filling, and it’s not influenced by filling noise.
  •  It can be used in both high pressure and high temperature applications.
  •  It is reliable in narrow silos and has a long measuring range.
  •  Easier to install
This radar technology eradicates almost all grey areas of silo level measurement, as a non contact measurement it solves the problems of dust generation, filling noise, and difficult installation conditions (e.g. does not require installation on an empty silo) that can be a shortfall of other silo level measurement techniques.
