The complete range of VEGA level gauges for solids or liquids level measurement in tanks, vessels, hoppers and silos can now be used without a licence in the UK, harmonizing them with the rest of the EU. This is in accordance with OFCOM Guidance Notes - OfW 366 Radar Level Gauges, the use of Radar Level Gauge equipment, apart from those whose emissions fall within the band 10.6 GHz to 10.7 GHz, is now licence exempt under the Wireless Telegraphy (Exemption) (Amendment) Regulations 2006 (SI No.2994). This also covers all existing VEGA systems in use. If you have any questions regarding this statement or need further advice on radar level transmitters contact VEGA : info@uk.vega.com
