VEGA places great emphasis on distinctive environmental management.
Our head office in Germany has its own hydroelectric power station that delivers a large part of its energy needs, in manufacturing your VEGA instruments – level, pressure or differential.
In 1997, Bruno Grieshaber decided that “we now have the
opportunity to build a hydroelectric power station and unburden the environment, so let’s do it. This is not the time for penny pinching.”
Already in July 2001, the company received environmental certification according to the DIN EN ISO 14001 standard.
It’s nice doing business with an environmentally aware company, even if I do say so myself!
